Date announced for Tetley's closure

Some of you may have noticed that we had a beer from Tetley's at this year's Beer Festival.  One of the reasons for this was to show support for a beer that was still brewed in Leeds.

Most of Tetley's beer is already produced outside Leeds, but today, the Yorkshire Post announced that the date for the final closure will be 17 June.  As Hilary Benn, MP for Leeds Central said - "It will be a sad day".
