Telephone (01709) 580841

This unique brewery operates in the cellar under what was once the club house of the long defunct Mexborough Concertina Band. The brewery began production in 1993 and production is about eight barrels per week, supplying around 25 occasional outlets. The beers are of excellent quality, winning prizes at many beer festivals, including the Great British.

The brewery was established in January 1996 in former dairy outbuildings at the owners’ home. The beer range has been expanded and almost entirely revised in the last 12 months. Deliveries are made direct to 80 outlets in Yorkshire, Lincolnshire, Derby and Nottinghamshire.

Great Heck Brewery

Imperial Brewery

Cliff Street, Mexborough, S64 9HU
Telephone 07982 885611

Doncaster's latest brewery started brewing in February 2011 to supply the Imperial Club, located directly above the brewery.  Three core beers are produced in the 5 barrel plant - Blonde, Bitter and Stout along with occasional guest brews.  These are available 'upstairs' in the Imperial Club along with other guest beers and a 'real' cider.

Old Mill Brewery Ltd

Mill Street, Snaith, Goole, East Yorkshire, DN14 9HS
Telephone (01405) 861813
Small brewery opened in 1983 in a 200-year-old former malt kiln and corn mill. A new brewhouse was installed in 1991 to increase the brewlength to 60 barrels and the brewery is slowly building up the tied estate (currently 14 houses). The innovation of selling some beers in plastic, non-returnable handicasks has meant that the beer can now be found nationwide; around 200 free trade outlets are supplied direct from the brewery. Plans are in hand to install a bottling plant. Tours by arrangement.

Thorne Brewery

Thorne Brewery opened in 2009, closed for a short spell in 2011 before resuming brewing with new owners.  Sadly, the brewing equipment was sold by their parent company in Febuary 2012 and brewing has once again ceased.

Toad Brewery

Stadium Way, Doncaster.

Only opened in 2010, Toad Brewery unfortunately closed in July 2011.
